  • How does crypto-asset trading work?

    VZ makes trading crypto-assets as straightforward and safe as possible. When you buy crypto-assets, they're credited directly to your custody account and the equivalent value is charged to your currency account.

    When you sell crypto-assets, they're not transferred to a crypto exchange, as is usually the case, but are held by VZ Depository Bank at all times. This ensures the highest possible level of security round the clock: should a broker or exchange go bankrupt, you won't suffer any losses.

  • What advantages does VZ Depository Bank offer?

    When you trade crypto-assets via VZ Depository Bank, you don't need to make any advance payments. The value is instead charged directly to your account. When you sell your crypto-assets, the assets are not first transferred to a crypto exchange, as is usually the case. This ensures security throughout the process, and in the event that a broker or exchange goes bankrupt, you need not fear any losses or costs arising from any claims.

  • How can I trade or stake crypto-assets?

    • You can place, adjust and delete orders in the VZ Financial Portal from Monday to Friday between 12.30 a.m. and 11.30 p.m. or via the trading desk on +41 58 411 82 11 between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m.
    • Trades are carried out between conventional fiat currencies in CHF, USD or EUR and crypto-assets. Customary standards of due diligence are observed (e.g. best execution).

  • Are transfers of crypto-assets possible?

    Deposits and withdrawals of the crypto-assets offered are generally possible. Before the assets are deposited, VZ Depository Bank will carry out a check and assist you with the transfer.

    Withdrawals are only permitted to wallets of which you are the beneficial owner.
