Many private investors are fed up with excessive fees. Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) are the right solution for them.
By purchasing and selling securities, actively managed funds aim to achieve a higher return than the benchmark index. However, only few fund managers succeed in this task in the long run. ETFs have the goal of reflecting an index one-to-one. They do not require active management and are therefore significantly cheaper.
The Swiss stock exchange lists more than 1400 ETFs and new products are constantly being added. It therefore becomes increasingly difficult and complex for investors to find suitable products.
