Zscaler promotes Ross Tackett to chief revenue officer

(AWP Alliance News) - Zscaler Inc on Thursday said Ross Tackett has been promoted to serve as chief revenue officer, succeeding Mike Rich.

The Santa Clara, California-based cloud enterprise security provider said Tackett will start in his new role on October 1.

Tackett has been with the company for three years and most recently served as head of worldwide sales.

Earlier in his career he spent over a decade in sales roles at ServiceNow Inc, a company providing a cloud-based platform and solutions that help digitise and unify organisations.

Tackett also spent 16 years in sales positions at information technology firm Dell Technologies Inc.

Outgoing Rich decided to step down for personal reasons but will remain with the company as a strategic advisor until December 31.

Shares in Zscaler closed 0.1% higher at USD214.64 each in New York on Thursday before falling 3.9% after hours.
