Description
(AWP Alliance News) - WiseTech Global has integrated its CargoWise logistics platform with PortConnect, New Zealand's port community system, to provide users with near real-time, container-level event data across participating ports. The link is intended to improve planning of quay-to-landside moves by combining vessel schedules with more granular port movement updates.
PortConnect will push around 30 types of container status events into CargoWise, supporting earlier visibility on availability and clearance milestones. The companies expect the added data to reduce transport inefficiencies and lower exposure to delays and demurrage costs.
