European stock movers in focus:
----------
TKMS AG & Co KGaA, up 13% at EUR97.90, 12-month range EUR57.00-EUR107.00. The shipbuilder lifts annual guidance amid a "significant increase in sales and adjusted earnings before interest and tax". It now expects annual revenue growth between 10% and 12%, up from a previous view of 2% to 5%. It now sees an adjusted Ebit margin of 6.5%, up from its prior "above 6%" view. The adjusted Ebit in the third quarter to June 30 rises 11% to EUR50 million from EUR45 million a year prior, with revenue up 37% to EUR722 million from EUR528 million.
----------
Prosus NV, down 3.4% at EUR39.68 in Amsterdam, 12-month range EUR36.17-EUR63.94. Shares look set for a third-successive daily fall. Investee Tencent Holdings Ltd fell 2.0% in Hong Kong on Wednesday. In addition, the WeChat developer releases second quarter earnings after the market close in Hong Kong. Attributable profit in the second quarter to June 30 rises 0.7% to CNY56.02 billion, around USD8.31 billion, from CNY55.63 billion a year prior. Revenue rises 11% to CNY204.79 billion from CNY184.50 billion. Revenue growth picks up from 9.1% in the first quarter but attributable profit had surged 21% in the first quarter, so bottom line progress slowed. Attributable profit was 4% lower on-quarter. Prosus shares traded around intraday lows after the Tencent earnings. The technology sector investor owns around 23% of Tencent. Prosus is also listed in Johannesburg, and shares there are 4.3% lower. Parent Naspers Ltd is down 4.1%.
----------
Kering SA, down 3.0% at EUR275.00, 12-month range EUR208.45-EUR354.20. Deutsche Bank cuts its price target for the stock to EUR280 from EUR295. The investment bank believes the recent earning season provided "limited improvement in sentiment towards European luxury". "The winners remained those relatively insulated from persistent sector headwinds, including the limited meaningful improvement in China," Deutsche says. The bank says share prices in the sector have diverged, though Kering is one that sits higher than it did prior to the earnings, up some 10% since reporting. The Gucci owner jumped 17% in a single trading day following its earnings, amid encouraging signs at the flagship brand.
----------
Brenntag SE, down 1.7% at EUR61.44, 12-month range EUR43.72-EUR66.86. The chemical company says it "continues to monitor macroeconomic developments, as risks of demand weakness remain". In the second quarter of 2026, net profit jumps to EUR182 million from EUR43 million, while revenue climbs 10% to EUR4.26 billion from EUR3.87 billion.
