European stock movers in focus:
----------
Amrize Ltd, down 9.3% at CHF37.77, 12-month range CHF35.20-CHF51.34. The building materials firm, once part of Holcim AG, cuts annual profit guidance. It now expects adjusted earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation between USD3.1 billion and USD3.2 billion for 2026, its view cut from USD3.25 billion to USD3.34 billion. However, its revenue forecast now sits between USD12.5 billion and USD12.7 billion, lifted from USD12.29 billion to USD12.52 billion. In 2025, revenue totalled USD11.82 billion and adjusted Ebitda USD3.01 billion. In the second quarter of 2026, Amrize achieves 8.6% revenue growth to USD3.49 billion from USD3.22 billion a year prior, with net income surging 14% to USD476 million from USD416 million. The adjusted Ebitda rises 5.8% to USD986 million from USD932 million.
----------
Genmab AS, up 9.2% at DKK2,049.00 in Copenhagen, 12-month range DKK1,337.00-DKK2,257.00. The biotechnology firm, with a focus on the treatment of cancer and other serious diseases, lifts guidance and reports stronger quarterly revenue. Revenue in the second quarter of 2026 rises by a quarter to USD1.16 billion from USD925 million, but net profit declines 9.8%, however, to USD303 million from USD336 million. For the full year, it now expects revenue between USD4.33 billion and USD4.53 billion, its view lifted from USD4.07 billion and USD4.40 billion.
----------
Daimler Truck Holding AG, down 4.1% at EUR46.09, 12-month range EUR33.46-EUR50.08. Shares look set for a fourth successive day in decline, after hitting a record high on Monday. The Leinfelden-Echterdingen, Germany-based commercial vehicle manufacturer says adjusted earnings before interest and tax fall 18% on-year to EUR838 million in the second quarter, from EUR1.02 billion. Daimler Truck last month had warned that profit would be below consensus of EUR878 million, while revenue would also be shy of forecasts. Revenue improves 5.3% on-year to EUR12.29 billion from EUR11.67 billion, while for its Industrial Business alone, so excluding financial services, it climbs 5.5% to EUR11.42 billion from EUR10.82 billion. The Industrial Business revenue was below consensus of EUR11.55 billion. Daimler Truck in its July preliminary second quarter trading update upped yearly guidance, now expecting an adjusted Ebit between EUR3.6 billion and EUR4.1 billion, up from a prior EUR3.2 billion to EUR3.7 billion view.
----------
Munich Re AG, down 2.7% at EUR508.40, 12-month range EUR437.40-EUR611.80. Net profit in the second quarter of 2026 rises 6.1% to EUR2.21 billion from EUR2.09 billion, the reinsurer says. Insurance revenue is up 1.1% to EUR14.94 billion from EUR14.78 billion. It now expects annual insurance revenue of EUR62 billion, its outlook cut from EUR64 billion. Its net profit view stays at EUR6.3 billion.
----------
Allianz SE, down 0.7% at EUR437.60, 12-month range EUR338.80-EUR443.90. It posts mixed quarterly profit, partly due to the business disposals but says it is on track to meet full-year financial guidance. The Munich, Germany-based insurer and asset manager's core net income falls 13% to EUR2.60 billion in the second quarter from EUR2.98 billion a year earlier. However, operating profit is up 11% to EUR4.87 billion in the second quarter from EUR4.41 billion. Allianz maintains that it is "fully on track" to reach its full-year operating profit target of EUR17.4 billion, plus or minus EUR1 billion. Operating profit in 2025 amounted to EUR17.37 billion.
