European stock movers in focus:
----------
Computacenter PLC, up 9.4% at 5,020.00p, 12-month range 2,656.00p-6,045.00p. It reports it performed better than expected in the third quarter, and it now forecasts annual profit ahead of consensus. The Hatfield, England-based technology services provider expects adjusted pretax profit of at least GBP425 million for 2026, ahead of company-compiled consensus of GBP387.1 million. In last month's half-year results, Computacenter predicted adjusted pretax profit to be "significantly ahead of current market expectations", which at the time stood at GBP340.9 million. It said profit would be "no less than GBP380 million". In 2025, adjusted pretax profit amounted to GBP272.0 million, so it now expects growth of at least 56%.
----------
Air France KLM SA, up 4.1% at EUR10.36 in Paris, 12-month range EUR8.37-EUR14.43. The oil price cools on Monday, easing pressure on travel stocks, though it remains in lofty territory. Brent trades at USD115.19 a barrel on Monday, declining from USD116.72 late Friday. Shares in Air France KLM, the owner of the French and Dutch flag carriers, have slid 11% so far in October amid a surging oil price. A lofty oil price threatens to lift jet fuel costs for carriers.
----------
Anheuser-Busch InBev NV, down 3.5% at EUR72.74p each in Brussels, 12-month range EUR51.60-EUR76.30. Stocks with a Brazil exposure tumble in the wake of election results. The brewer's 62%-owned Ambev SA sinks 16% in pre-market dealings in New York. Brewer Ambev operates in Brazil, as well as nations including Argentina, Canada and Uruguay. Brazil's defeated presidential candidate Flavio Bolsonaro refused to recognise President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva's victory on Sunday, citing the extension of polling hours over public transport issues that disrupted some voters, AFP reports.
"It is impossible to acknowledge the result," he said from Brasilia, adding that "I am going to request the annulment of these elections." AJ Bell analyst Russ Mould comments: "The political situation is more volatile in Brazil, with the surprise victory of incumbent Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva in a knife-edge presidential election over his opponent Flavio Bolsonaro - perceived as more market-friendly - putting futures in Brazilian currency, bond and equity markets under pressure." The US dollar bought BRL4.9931 on Monday, up markedly from BRL4.9652 late on Friday.
----------
Babcock International Group PLC, up 3.4% at 971.50p, 12-month range 871.20p-1,527.00p. The UK government budget will set out a path for defence spending to hit 3% of national income by 2030, Prime Minister Andy Burnham said. The PM said national security was "at the top of the priority list" ahead of the autumn statement on Wednesday.
