Thales inks contract on missile defence for Spanish Navy

(AWP Alliance News) - Thales SA - Paris-based defence, aerospace and technology group - Signs contract with Indra Sistemas SA to integrate the Lightweight Multirole Missile into a new short-range air defence solution called Shipborne Launcher System for the Spanish Navy. "Under the contract, Thales will also provide the weapon integration kit and the technical expertise required to support the integration of the LMM into SILAEM, providing the first ever VSHORAD solution to the Spanish Naval Forces," adds Thales.
