Supermicro teams with Red Hat, Everpure on Kubernetes edge AI appliances

(AWP Alliance News) - Super Micro Computer (SMCI) launched Kubernetes Edge AI appliances through a collaboration with Red Hat and Everpure. The turnkey systems bundle Supermicro hardware with Red Hat OpenShift software plus Portworx by Everpure data management for AI workloads.

The partners are targeting faster deployment of AI inference at distributed edge sites such as retail locations or factory floors. Supermicro said it validated the full-stack edge Kubernetes platform to support scaling, management, and security across edge environments.
