(AWP Alliance News) - Qualcomm Inc - San Diego, California-based semiconductor chip manufacturer - Says it has renewed its global patent licence agreement with the Cupertino, California-based iPhone maker Apple Inc. The renewal comes into effect on April 1 of next year, though the companies did not specify the term of the new agreement, but in 2019, they had entered a six-year licensing deal, with a two-year extension option, as part of an agreement to drop litigation against each other.
John Han, executive vice president and general manager of Qualcomm Technology Licensing, comments on Thursday: "We are pleased to extend the Apple license agreement."
