Description

(AWP Alliance News) - Prysmian Spa on Thursday said it has hired Anna Tanganelli to be its next chief financial officer, replacing Pier Francesco Facchini, who will leave the Milan-based cable manufacturer at the end of 2026.

Tanganelli will join Prysmian on 1 November from Iveco Group NV, where she has served as chief finance & information technology officer since December 2023. She will report to Chief Executive Officer Massimo Battaini.

Tanganelli has more than 25 years of financial and strategic experience, Prysmian noted, having held positions at Fiat Chrysler, now part of Stellantis NV, CNH Industrial NV, Magneti Marelli and Iren Spa. Tanganelli began her career in investment banking at UBS Group AG and is currently a director of GVS Spa.

Facchini, who holds 406,679 Prysmian shares, has led Prysmian's finance and IT function since January 2007, shortly before the company's stock market listing. He will retain his current roles, including his board seat, until the end of the year.

His employment will end on January 1, when he will also resign as a director. The board has postponed a decision on whether to replace him, given the limited time remaining in its term.

Facchini will receive gross severance pay of EUR1.4 million, equal to 24 months of fixed salary. He may also receive pro-rata payments under Prysmian's short and long-term incentive plans.

Prysmian shares were up by 4.1% to EUR119.45 each on Thursday afternoon in Milan.
