Nemetschek to support Saudi Arabia's sustainability ambitions

(AWP Alliance News) - Nemetschek SE on Thursday announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding with the Saudi Green Building Alliance to promote sustainability.

Nemetschek is a Munich, Germany-based architecture, engineering and construction software and artificial intelligence company.

Nemetschek is the first technology firm to enter a strategic collaboration agreement with the sustainability-focused non-profit.

"Through the collaboration, Nemetschek Group and SGBA will work together on a range of initiatives that include joint market development activities, industry events, conferences, awareness campaigns, and stakeholder engagement initiatives focused on promoting more sustainable and digitally enabled approaches to planning, designing, constructing, and operating buildings and infrastructure," Nemetschek explained.

Both organisations will identify pilot projects and practical use cases to demonstrate how new technologies can improve operational efficiency and support net-zero objectives, while also exchanging best practices, technical expertise, and industry insights.

Nemetschek shares closed up 0.7% at EUR61.00 each in Frankfurt on Thursday.
