European stock movers in focus:

----------

JD Sports Fashion down down 2.9% at 76.44p, 12-month range 63.98p-106.18p. Cautions headwinds seen in the first half of the financial year are likely to persist as it reports lower sales and reduced margin. The sports retailer says pretax profit before adjusting items falls 20% to GBP282 million from GBP351 million, just ahead of GBP279 million company-compiled consensus. Sales edge down 0.7% to GBP5.90 billion from GBP5.94 billion. Organic sales decline 0.7% at constant currency, while like-for-like sales fall 2.8%. Gross margin slips to 46.8% from 47.0%, below market expectations of 47.5%. Looking ahead, JD Sports leaves financial 2027 guidance unchanged from the reduced outlook outlined in August. The company continues to expect pretax profit before adjusting items of GBP700 million to GBP800 million and free cash flow of GBP460 million to GBP520 million.

----------

Airtel Africa PLC - down 0.1% at 311.80p, 12-month range 219.00p-436.20p. Says its mobile money business, Airtel Mobile Commerce NV, known as Airtel Money, intends to float on the London Stock Exchange, in a listing that could value the unit at up to USD9.00 billion. Airtel Africa, which is majority-owned by Indian telecommunications company Bharti Airtel Ltd, currently owns around 78% of Airtel Money and expects to remain a long-term strategic shareholder following the flotation. The flotation would make it one of London's largest IPOs in recent years, with reports suggesting Airtel Africa had considered listing in the Middle East before opting for London.

----------

Siltronic, down 3.4% at EUR79.95, 12-month range EUR41.52-EUR108.80. Stock falls after Munich-based silicon wafer manufacturer Wacker Chemie places 2.2 million shares of Siltronic at EUR77.25 each, corresponding to 6.7% of Siltronic's equity. The placement reduces Wacker's shareholding in Siltronic to around 15%. Wacker says gross proceeds of EUR171 million strengthen its financial position and create "additional scope to invest in future growth". Wacker Chief Executive Officer Christian Hartel says: "We remain very satisfied with Siltronic's development and continue to support the company's strategy. This transaction strengthens our financial position and creates additional scope to invest in future growth."

----------

Anheuser-Busch InBev NV - down 0.9% at EUR67.68, 12-month range EUR49.64-EUR76.18. Shares in the Leuven, Belgium-based brewer fall after Tuesday's capital markets day in St Louis, US, at which no new financial targets were released. Despite this, analysts say presentations showcased the group's commercial execution and digital capabilities, which should underpin the medium-term growth.

----------

Autotrader, down down 2.7%, at 471.25p, 12-month range 418.60p-828.80p. JPMorgan reiterates 'underweight' rating and 440p share price target. Analyst Lara Simpson highlights read-through for the online classifieds "debate" on AI-led discovery and disintermediation risk from the launch of Meta Platform's AI agent, Muse. She thinks AI agents can "weaken click-through" and "pressure marketplace monetisation in non-exclusive supply categories". Simpson sees a "downside skew" to earnings and valuation as distribution competition intensifies and AI-led discovery raises the risk of further multiple compression.
