European stock movers in focus:
----------
Credit Agricole SA, down 2.5% at EUR15.96, 12-month range EUR15.37-EUR20.40. Shares trade ex-dividend. On Monday after the market close announces an agreement with Lone Star Global Acquisitions Ltd to acquire 100% of the share capital of Germany's IKB Deutsche Industriebank AG. "The acquisition of IKB will give Credit Agricole immediate scale in the German mid-corporate banking market, through an established and broad client franchise, deep-rooted Mittelstand credibility and a very strong team with deep sector knowledge," says Credit Agricole. Dusseldorf-headquartered IKB provides a range of lending, capital market, structuring advisory and transformation advisory services to mid-sized companies in Germany's Mittelstand, according to Credit Agricole.
----------
STMicroelectronics NV, down 2.1% at EUR44.58, 12-month range EUR18.20-EUR70.85. President & CEO Jean-Marc Chery accepts the supervisory board's petition to be available for reappointment of his role for an additional year. The Geneva-based semiconductor maker will propose to shareholders at the next annual general meeting Chery's reappointment for a one-year term as chair of the managing board, alongside the roles of President & CEO, which he has held since 2018.
----------
Melrose Industries PLC, up 4.3% at 469.20 pence, 12-month range 409.90p-685.00p. The aerospace manufacturer reports progress towards resolving a civil investigation into its GKN Aerospace Garden Grove facility in California, as it prepares to resume full operations. Melrose says the Orange County District Attorney's Office has filed court documents outlining an agreed final judgment, an operational safety plan and details of a previously announced claims programme worth up to USD100 million for eligible residents and businesses. The proposed settlement also includes USD15 million in civil enforcement penalties and USD10 million in claims received to date from emergency services and relevant authorities. The settlement remains subject to court approval, while mediation continues over separate civil class action lawsuits. GKN expects a phased return to full capacity during the fourth quarter, subject to regulatory approval. Melrose says its insurance position remains under review.
----------
Givaudan SA, up 8.3% at CHF3,746.50, 12-month range CHF2,566.00-CHF3,759.00. The Swiss fragrances and flavourings manufacturer reports an 11% rise in third-quarter sales to CHF2.09 billion from CHF1.88 billion a year earlier, with like-for-like growth of 8.6%. Fragrance & Beauty sales jump 18% to CHF1.14 billion from CHF968 million, while Taste & Wellbeing sales increase 4.5% to CHF952 million from CHF911 million. For the first nine months of 2026, group sales rise 2.6% to CHF5.89 billion from CHF5.74 billion, driven by 7.8% growth in Fragrance & Beauty, while Taste & Wellbeing sales decline 2.8%. Chief Executive Christian Stammkoetter highlights accelerating sales momentum and improving performance in Taste & Wellbeing. Givaudan says it has implemented price increases in collaboration with customers to fully offset higher input costs.
----------
Stellantis NV, down 0.8% at EUR3.92, 12-month range EUR3.81-EUR10.49. Reports a 1% decline in third-quarter global shipments to an estimated 1.29 million vehicles from 1.30 million a year earlier, as growth in Europe is offset by planned production shutdowns in North America. European shipments rise 10% to 588,000 from 534,000, supported by stronger demand for electric vehicles across its Stellantis and Leapmotor brands. North American shipments fall 12% to 357,000 from 404,000, reflecting a planned production shutdown affecting Jeep models. Shipments in the Middle East & Africa decline 21% to 75,000 from 95,000, amid weaker demand in Turkey and reduced imports ahead of local small-van production. Higher shipments to Algeria and Morocco partly offset lower volumes in Gulf countries affected by regional conflict.
