(AWP Alliance News) - Corporate Travel Management Ltd on Wednesday announced a five-year global partnership with Madrid-based Amadeus IT Group SA, aiming to accelerate the digital transformation of its global operations and expand customer value.

The Brisbane, Australia-based travel management solutions provider said under the agreement, Amadeus will become its preferred global distribution system across all regions following a competitive tender process.

The arrangement will provide access to more than 400 airlines, about 2 million hotel properties and over 25 rail providers through the Amadeus platform.

Travel technology company Amadeus will supply automation capabilities across ticketing, queue management, quality control and schedule change processing to reduce manual servicing requirements.

CTM said it expects long-term strategic, financial and operational benefits as implementation progresses and transaction volumes migrate to the Amadeus platform.

Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Ana Pedersen said: "This represents an important milestone in CTM's digital transformation and will combine CTM's deep expertise in global corporate travel solutions with Amadeus' advanced technology to accelerate innovation in an increasingly fast-paced and competitive travel marketplace."

The company will adopt a comprehensive suite of Amadeus solutions covering distribution, retailing and servicing.

Planned enhancements to CTM's online and offline platforms include improved real-time content availability, streamlined end-to-end servicing, strengthened AI-driven capabilities and upgraded customer experience through Amadeus airport and payment services.
