CSL updates its US plasma collection network partnership

(AWP Alliance News) - CSL Ltd - Melbourne, Australia-based biotechnology company - Announces the expansion of its relationship with Boston-headquartered Haemonetics Corp. "CSL expects to have completed the rollout of Haemonetics' latest generation plasmapheresis platform across its US plasma collection centres by the end of 2027," says the company. Further, CSL notes that it has entered into an agreement with Terumo BCT Inc, the provider of the Rika plasma collection system currently used by CSL, to support a smooth transition between the providers as CSL switches to the Haemonetics platform. CSL adds that the switch "is one of several measures underway to further increase CSL's plasma collection network efficiency."
