IN BRIEF: Kuehne & Nagel opens fulfilment centre with Mondadori

(AWP Alliance News) - Kuehne & Nagel International AG - Schindellegi, Switzerland-based logistics company - Inaugurates a new 40,000 square metre fulfilment centre in San Giorgio Bigarello, Italy in partnership with Milan-based publisher Arnoldo Mondadori Editore Spa. The site became fully operational in June and according to K&N the facility is the largest logistics hub in Italy dedicated to educational publishing.

K&N says: "Developed and operated by Kuehne+Nagel, the new fulfilment centre brings together activities previously managed across three locations. The hub also serves Mondadori Group's educational and retail publishing business, including bookstores, e-commerce and direct-to-consumer channels. It reflects the growing importance of all-in-one logistics solutions to support the evolution of the publishing market."
