Description

(AWP Alliance News) - Boeing Co - Arlington, Virginia-based aerospace manufacturer - Announces new "AI-powered" aircraft data intelligence platform, Dataliner, which is "designed to help airlines unlock greater value from their aviation data" by combining datasets "into connected, fleet-wide intelligence that supports smarter maintenance and operational decisions." Says it built the platform in partnership with Microsoft and that Dataliner leverages Azure AI Foundry and Microsoft's data solutions, alongside other technologies, to enable airlines to maintain control over their data in their own environments, while also accessing Boeing and industry intelligence where needed. The platform "also provides a common intelligence foundation for Boeing's Digital Services portfolio," it says.

"Airlines have more data available to them than ever before, but turning that data into meaningful action remains a challenge," comments Lindsey Douglas, vice president of Cabin, Modifications, Maintenance & Digital Services at Boeing Global Services. "Dataliner is an important step in how Boeing is bringing its aircraft expertise and digital capabilities together to help customers anticipate maintenance needs, identify emerging risks and take timely action."
