BlackRock Jumps 8% After Q2 Profit, Revenue Beat

(AWP Alliance News) - BlackRock Inc. (BLK) gained 8% on Wednesday morning after reporting strong second-quarter results, fueled by record assets under management, robust client inflows, and broad-based revenue growth.

The stock is currently trading at $1,102.73, up $77.29 or 7.54%, on the NYSE. It opened at $1,100.00 after closing the previous session at $1,025.44. The stock has traded between $917.39 and $1,219.94 over the past 52 weeks.

Quarterly net income rose to $1.91 billion, or $12.19 per share, from $1.59 billion, or $10.19 per share, a year earlier. Adjusted EPS increased to $13.91 from $12.05, while revenue climbed 31% to $7.08 billion.

Assets under management reached a record $15.3 trillion, supported by $192 billion in quarterly net inflows.
