(AWP Alliance News) - Bank of America agreed to buy UK information security consultancy MDSec Consulting, expanding its cybersecurity capabilities in the UK and globally. The deal is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2026, subject to regulatory approvals.

MDSec is based in Macclesfield, England, employing about 65 cybersecurity professionals. Bank of America has more than 1,400 employees in nearby Chester, where it also runs a cyber threat operations center.
