Written payment orders

Written payment orders must be placed with VZ Depository Bank Ltd by noon on Monday, 30 December 2025 so that they can be processed in 2025.

Electronic payment orders

Domestic and international payments need to be entered correctly and authorised by noon on 31 December 2025 at the latest.

Payments into pillar 3a

Amounts entered before the year end can be fully deducted from your 2025 taxable income: CHF 7,258 if you have a pension fund; CHF 36,288 if you don't have a pension fund. Depending on your marginal tax rate, you can thus save several thousand Swiss francs on taxes. Such payments also improve your retirement provision, of course. You still have a little time left this year to make a payment. If you'd like to be on the safe side and avoid missing the deadline, you should do so by 22 December 2025.
