Things to consider when choosing a banking package

Many banks bundle their services in a package that is offered at a fixed price. This means that not every payment or cash withdrawal is billed separately, but instead charged at a flat fee.

Some banks also offer their packages in the form of modular solutions. Such solutions allow clients to choose for themselves which services their packages should include.

As a general rule, it's cheaper to obtain services as a package rather than individually. However, it's still advisable to check exactly which services the package in question includes. In particular, you should check whether your banking package contains additional services, such as ATM cash withdrawals using a debit card, physical payments using payment slips and international payments in e-banking. These additional services are often not included in the banking package – or only included to a limited extent.

If one day you require such services, the fees you pay will increase sharply. Since the contents of different packages vary considerably, it's also practically impossible to compare prices.
